Saturday, November 15
- 8:00 AMEnjoy a delicious group breakfast.
- 8:00 AMMorning Workshop with Eva & Nadine: Creative Composition and Fine Art Storytelling. We'll cover how to build an emotional narrative through your images, using composition, light, and styling.
- 9:00 AMPhotography Exercise at the Resort: Get camera settings dialed in, practice lighting techniques and get guiding each other for posing practice.
- 11:00 AMFree time to relax and get ready for the first styled photoshoot
- 2:00 PMGroup Lunch
- 3:30 PMOn-Location Mayan Ruins Photoshoot #1. We'll head to a breathtaking local setting for our first styled shoot. This session will focus on applying the morning's lessons in a real-world environment.
- 7:30 PMGroup dinner at a fantastic local restaurant. We'll review the day's work and discuss our creative progress.
Sunday, November 16
- 8:00 AMGroup breakfast.
- 9:00 AMOn-Location Cenote Photoshoot #2. This morning, we'll focus on mastering different lighting conditions and directing your subject to capture authentic, powerful emotions.
- 12:00 PMLunch + Workshop with Eva & Nadine: Editing & Post-Processing with a Fine Art Touch. Learn how to use editing tools to enhance emotion and create a cohesive body of work that reflects your unique style.
- 1:00 PMFree time to enjoy the pool, beautiful ocean or explore the town.
- 5:00 PMOn-Location Sunset Ocean + Fine Art Studio Photoshoots #3. This afternoon, we'll focus on mastering different lighting conditions and directing your subject to capture authentic, powerful emotions.
- 8:30 PMFinal group dinner. We’ll toast to our new skills and the memories we’ve made.
Monday, November 17
- 9:00 AMGroup Farewell lunch and wrap-up. If anyone would like to book another 1 on 1 lesson with either Master photographer please let us know and this can be arranged!
- 11:00 AMGuest check-out and departure. If anyone wants to extend their stay this we can assist with as well

I’m Nadine Friedman, the creative heart behind Mik ’n Drik Photography, based in beautiful Cozumel, Mexico. Originally from South Africa, my journey to the island came full circle after years sailing the Caribbean with Carnival Cruise Line. When I settled in Cozumel in 2014, I fell in love with island life and began shaping a photography style that feels natural, emotive, and deeply connected to this place I now call home. I specialize in newborn, lifestyle, family, interior, and wedding photography, capturing life’s genuine moments and infusing them with the colors, light, and serenity of Cozumel’s tropical backdrop. My passion is creating images that preserve not just how a moment looked, but how it felt—authentic, vibrant, and timeless.
